The Legend of The Wild Moose Saloon
The beginnings of the Wild Moose Saloon were humble, starting out as an ethereal vision a few years ago, as I sat with little to do but dream of a place of solitude and fun in Alaska, the homeland of my spouse. With each passing week, the Saloon and Inn took shape in my mind, going from a smaller cottage type structure, to a larger, full-service bar and inn, with facilities for travelers and guests from near and far. Mostly far as there is nothing really near. And, I mean nothing! That perhaps is the charm of such a place, built from nothing, with nothing, and entirely ethereal in nature, while providing such great amenities to the mind and soul. Nourishing the creative spirit and allowing such fun, while remaining warm and dry during the cold Alaskan winters. Ahhh, what a life. Reality can be virtual and still be so real. Thus our motto:
Where imagination is your only limit!
